Renewal of Registration

As professionals, Paramedics strive to maintain and improve our own competence in a field that is constantly evolving in order to meet the needs of the communities that we serve.

To maintain Registration in New Brunswick, Paramedics must register with the Paramedic Association of New Brunswick on an annual basis.

In order to complete registration, EMS professionals are required to:

  • Register with the Paramedic Association of New Brunswick and pay applicable fees upon application for registration. Current registration fees are $170 annually.


  • Complete and submit the Registration Renewal Form on or before February 15th of each year.



  • Any documents not postmarked or received by midnight, February 15th will be subject to a $50.00 surcharge.

    This surcharge has been implemented to deter late registration in an effort to streamline the process, as well as to cover associated administrative costs.

    All complete applications will be reviewed by the Registrar. Notification of incomplete applications will be issued within 15 business days of receipt of documentation.

    Confirmation of successful completion of the registration process will be issued within 90 days of receipt of complete documentation.

    Incomplete documentation will not be processed and returned to the individual for completion. Deadline for submission is February 15th to avoid the $50.00 surcharge.Deadline for late submissions is March 15th. Anyone not registered with the Association by March 15th will be subject to deregistration.
