New Registrants
A New Registrant is defined as a graduate from a Canadian Medical Association (CMA) accredited paramedic educational program who has never been registered in any jurisdiction, or a practitioner who has been registered in another jurisdiction for a period of lest than twelve months. These registrants are typically recent graduates from educational programs or who have not yet entered the Emergency Medical Services system.
In order for an application to be considered for registration, the applicant must submit the following **:
New Registrants must enter the Paramedic Integration Process and pay applicable fees in accordance with the Fee Payment Schedule.
Evaluation and documentation will be completed within 30 days of receipt of appropriate documents. If for any reason the applicant disputes or disagrees with the determination of the Registrar, application in writing to the Registrar for review of the decision may be requested.
**Applicants will not be eligible to write the entrance exam if documentation is incomplete.
***Please note: Paramedics who are currently licensed in the province of NB and are looking to renew their registration need to access the Registration Renewal Form which is located in the members’ area of the PANB website. Please contact the Association if you need further assistance.
