Competency

The Paramedic Association of New Brunswick is responsible to ensure the professionalism and competence of prehospital emergency medical practitioners in the Province of New Brunswick. To ensure practitioners are appropriately and consistently evaluated, the Association requires all registrants to participate in an annual "Re-Registration Process".

This process is comprised of a “Registration” component as well as a “Ongoing Maintenance of Competence” component, consistent with other healthcare professions.

By ensuring that all paramedics within New Brunswick complete this process, the Association is helping protect the profession as well as the patients that we serve. This is consistant with our Mission Statement and Values.
